As you all know, I recently started the 28 Day Challenge with Robert Brace DVD. I wanted to tell you all a little bit about my experiences so far. The fitness challenge is broken down into 4 - DVD's. DVD 1: Chest, Shoulders, and Legs. DVD 2: Triceps & Back. DVD 3: Chest, Triceps and Back. DVD 4: Back, Shoulders, and Legs. Within each DVD there is an ab section, TRUST ME, you get a very INTENSE, yet effective abdominal workout. SIDE NOTE: I must admit, out of all of the various ab workouts I have done, this one, by far is my favorite!
How does the 28 Day Challenge Work?
Glad you asked! There are 3 different tracks to this challenge. You can either choose The Standard- you work out 2 days then rest 2 days. Or you can choose The Express- You workout days 1-4 then rest 4 days. The Ultra is the final option - You work out for 5 days then rest 2. I am currently doing The Standard. No matter which route you choose, you are expected to receive the same results. The DVD's are broken into several intervals of Muscle Building (Strength Training) and Abdominal (Core) Training. You're also advised to follow the low carb, high protein diet. The diet isn't too bad, however, it has forced me to become slightly creative with my meals. The diet and the exercises combined work great to give you maximum results in a short period of time.
