3 Books I Plan to Read in 2016

It's time to Educate

I remember having a conversation with someone not too long ago, I explained to them, some of us walk around with the same knowledge for over 10 years. How sad is that? To never grow or expand your knowledge base beyond what you currently have, can be depressing. Life changes every day and we must expand our knowledge base to keep up with the times. If you don't read and educate yourself, how can you properly help others and serve your purpose in this world? It's time for us to educate ourselves. We can't rely on colleges/universities or prior knowledge anymore. The best way to do so, in my opinion, is to read! Read as much as you can, as often as you can, about as many subjects that you can.

Choose a Topic that Interests You

This was the easy part for me,  I'm focused on Entrepreneurship, therefore I'm reading books to help expand and grow my knowledge in this area. The first book that I'm reading is: "You Are A Badass" by Jen Sincero. This book is a NY Times best seller. I've heard so many great things about this book, and I can not wait to dive into reading it tonight! Sometimes we all need a little pick-me-up so to speak, to remind us of our how dope and epic we really are! In this book, the author helps us to not only identify self-sabatoging beliefs and behaviors, but also how to create the life you love and how to make money doing so. Who doesn't want to know that right? Check it out with me. Click the button below to purchase this book for under $10.

YOU ARE A BADASS

#GIRLBOSS

After I'm done with this book, I'm going to check out #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso. This book teaches you all about being a #GIRLBOSS. Now this book is right up my alley.....I actually should have started with this book now that I think of it. LOL. If you want to check out #GIRLBOSS with me, click the button below (it's under $10).

GIRL CODE

Now this book is all about sister hood and developing our very own Girl Code. The author Cara Alwill Leyba, is all about building women up in the entrepreneurship world. I love what this book stands for and is all about. If you want to read Girl Code, click the button below and check it out with me!

I'm so excited to check out these books and gain more knowledge in the area of Entrepreneurship. Are you reading books this year? If so, what are you reading, post links. Let's read together and develop our  own GIRL CODE.
